Choki and Volunteer Firefighters bring new life to Santa Cruz das Flores Court Garden
The Santa Cruz das Flores Volunteer Firefighters joined an initiative of the association Choki and helped with the renovation of the garden attached to the court of the Florentine municipality. The fire brigade transformed the old garden area “into a new, renovated and aesthetic garden that no one can forget.” The new garden now has over 200 flowers, such as lilies, azaleas and white and purple tulips. The “abandoned” space has thus given way to a garden that leaves reason for Florentines to be proud of, or not representative of the “natural beauty of the island,” the association says.
